Internal Sharing Sessions

We regularly hold “Internal Sharing Sessions,” using interactive formats such as group discussions and structured brainstorming to encourage employees to think outside the box and provide suggestions for the company's current policies and future business development directions. This not only gives employees a good opportunity to communicate but also strengthens the company's cohesion, uniting everyone to drive future development and achieve greater success.

Employee Exchange and Observation Program

We value talent exchange and development, actively organizing various inspections and employee exchange activities to promote experience sharing and communication. Hong Yip periodically holds local and overseas "study tours," allowing employees to visit different types of properties, especially newly acquired buildings. These tours provide opportunities to meet with management and gain a multifaceted understanding of the company's development direction and management strategies.

Fostering Engagement Through Technology

WeCom is one of our self-developed mobile apps, which enhances and deepens both horizontal and vertical communication channels within the company, allowing information to be effectively conveyed. This strengthens the communication bridge between management and employees, enabling the entire company to work together towards common goals with a unified vision.

Workplace Mentorship and Community Care

The company provides a platform for employees to participate in community activities as mentors, caring for society and offering appropriate guidance and support to individuals with different needs in their career and life directions, contributing to the community.

Supporting SEN Students

We actively support and participates in employment capability enhancement programs for students with special needs, organized by institutions such as The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Our workplace mentors provide internship guidance and advice on career planning for students with special educational needs.

Supporting Women's Integration into the Community - 'Mum's Jobcation”

We actively collaborate with the social enterprise "Hatch Co Working Factory" established by the Social Ventures Hong Kong. Workplace mentors assist in promoting local employment, shared talent and a family-centered flexible working hours model, providing workplace guidance and a friendly work environment for grassroots women, allowing them to adapt to work while taking care of their children. 

Striving for Diversity and inclusion

We continue to hold workshops on "PHAB Integration" in collaboration with various organizations, such as The Hong Kong PHAB Association, H.K.S.K.H. Lady MacLehose Centre, and the Elderly Resource Centre, to help employees learn the skills and methods for caring for the elderly and those in need. This aids in properly understanding and assisting them, adhering to our parent company's mission of "Serving Our Customers with Heart" and Hong Yip’s motto of "Building Home with Heart."

Internship Opportunities for Ethnic Minorities

We have been committed to creating a more inclusive work environment for ethnic diversity. In 2019, the company signed the "The Racial Diversity and Inclusion Charter for Employers" with the Equal Opportunities Commission, pledging to provide valuable internship opportunities and workplace mentors for minority students each year. Employees act as workplace mentors, providing guidance and helping them explore career development opportunities, which also allows the company to attract talent from diverse ethnic backgrounds, resulting in a win-win situation.

Provide work experience programs

We continuously collaborate with various partners and NGO, such as Seed Foundation, Child Development Initiative Alliance, Employee Retraining Board, and Equal Opportunities Commission, to provide unique workplace experiences for students and job seekers, helping them explore career directions and equip themselves in advance. We also organize career planning and employment seminars, as well as company visits, to enhance understanding of Hong Yip and the property management industry.
